Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos The Movie has revealed a new trailer, and it will be arriving to Netflix on August 22. The final chapter of the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon series premiered in Japan over two parts last year. Studios Toei Animation and DEEN animated the movie, while the mangaka Naoko Takeuchi was involved as a supervisor.
The new trailer features the main theme song “Tsuki no Hana” by Daoko.

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos The Movie is the sequel to the 2021 Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal: The Movie. These films are part of the new Sailor Moon Crystal anime adaptation. Prior to the films, three seasons were released: Dark Kingdom (July 2014-January 2015), Black Moon (February 2015-July 2015), and Death Busters (April-June 2016).
The Sailor Moon franchise started with the manga of the same name by Naoko Takeuchi. The manga was serialized in Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine from 1991 to 1997. The anime adaptation by Toei Animation premiered in 1992 and aired until 1997.
