See You Tomorrow at the Food Court anime has revealed a character trailer for Yamamoto on Friday. The series is slated to premiere on July 7 animated by Studio Atelier Pontdarc (Uncle from Another World).
Kazuomi Koga (Rent-A-Girlfriend) directs the anime with Jukki Hanada (The Dangers in My Heart) is writing the series composition. Kyuta Sakai (Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World) is designing the characters and serving as chief animation director.
Oisicle Melonpan is singing the opening theme song “Mikansei ni Matataite,” while the main characters of the series, Wada (voiced by Hiyori Miyazaki) and Yamamoto (voiced by Yoshino Aoyama), will perform the ending theme song titled “Tonari Awase.”
The story is about Wada, a quiet rich girl who is secretly a mobile game addict in a passionate love-hate relationship (with a 2D character), and Yamamoto, an intimidating lone wolf who has a penchant for urban legends with eyes only for her favorite YouTuber. The two became unlikely friends and met at the food court every day after school to rant, rave, and learn what makes each other tick.
