Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2 anime revealed a character visual featuring Liselotte Cretia ahead of the show’s October premiere. The anime previously revealed a visual for Celia Clare. Nao Toyama voices Cretia, and you can see her visual below.
Just like with Akane Fujita (Celia), an interview with Nao Toyama was shared.
- Q: Reflecting on Liselotte’s role in the first season, how do you perceive her as a character now? Please tell us about any changes in your impression of Liselotte, or if any of your impressions have remained consistent.
A: In the first season, Liselotte only appeared in a few episodes, and the Liselotte I had portrayed in the drama CDs of the original novel was different because the story was set several years earlier in the timeline. I approached the role carefully, thinking about how I could make everyone see the real Liselotte. The scene where she got excited over Rio’s knowledge of tea left an impression on me, and I personally found her age-appropriate cuteness very endearing. From there, time has passed, and in the second season, I think you’ll be able to see her strong side as she stands firmly to protect Amande. I hope you enjoy that contrast. - Q: Now that the second season is confirmed, what are your honest thoughts after completing the recording sessions?
A: I was really happy when I received the news about the second season. I was told that Liselotte would have many scenes, so I was excited to see what kind of story awaited. While there were still some restrictions during the recording, we were able to gather in larger numbers compared to the first season, which made me happy too. The recording sessions went quite smoothly, and even in that short time, I was able to communicate with others, which I believe made the group even stronger as a team. - Q: What are the highlights of Liselotte in the second season?
A: There are various troubles in the story this time as well, but Liselotte’s ability to remain calm and see the situation objectively no matter what happens is truly impressive. As someone who governs the trading city of Amande, she knows how to communicate with respect no matter who she is dealing with. She also raises the morale of many people and leads them. It’s quite different from the cute and heartwarming moments we saw in the drama CDs before.
