Popular webtoons Killing Stalking, Love is an Illusion, and Pulse are getting print English releases by Seven Seas Entertainment. The publisher announced newly acquired licenses of mature-rated works earlier today. The webtoons were originally published on Lezhin – Korean webtoon service which also offers an English version of its website.
Killing Stalking – June 2022
Killing Stalking is a Korean horror-thriller manhwa by Koogi. It was serialized on Lezhin from 2016 to 2019. The story features mental health issues, violence, and elements of BL (although it’s not considered as such by traditional standards). The printed Killing Stalking release will be a deluxe paperback in full color.
Yoon Bum, a scrawny and quiet man, has a crush on one of the most popular and handsome guys in his college: Sangwoo. After the two cross paths again during their military training, Yoon Bum’s feelings grow in intensity until they become an obsession–and he breaks into Sangwoo’s home. Pulse by Ratana Satis is a story about two women who meet under difficult circumstances and fall in love. Originally serialized from 2016 to 2017, Pulse is getting a print edition in July 2022.
Mel, a renowned heart surgeon, is well-known for being a stoic loner. She views her erotic flings with other women as a tool for pleasure rather than a show of affection. When she delivers bad news to patients’ families, her cold nature can make her seem heartless. Then she meets Lynn, a beautiful and spirited cardiac patient who needs a new heart, but refuses a transplant. Love Is an Illusion is a Korean BL manhwa by Fargo. The serialization ended this year, after 99 episodes. The story features omegaverse themes.
