Shadows House Season 2 is continuing with episode 10 and the preview for it is now out. The episode will air on Friday, September 9. After some dark reveals in the previous episode we will get to see the continuation of Maryrose’s plan. Mai Nakahara is narrating this week’s preview. She voices both Maryrose and Rosemary.
The plot of the upcoming episode is described as (spoilers ahead):
Kate and John are no match for Maryrose, who manipulates a large number of scorches, so they flee the mansion. Maryrose and Rosemary are gradually hunted down by a clever strategy, but they come up with a secret plan to turn the tables.
The latest episodes of Shadows House are available on Crunchyroll, as the service is streaming the anime on a weekly basis. This season is animated by studio CloverWorks, which also worked on the first season, and the theme songs include:
- OP: “Shall We Dance?” by ReoNa
- ED: “Masquerade” by ClariS
Shadows House anime is based on a manga by Somato. It started publishing in Sheuisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in 2018. Yen Press licensed the manga and describes the plot as:
Shadows House-a strange mansion that receives no callers, inhabited by a race of faceless shadows who play at being aristocrats and are waited on hand and foot by “living dolls,” who also serve as their masters’ faces. What goes on inside this enigmatic manor is anyone’s guess, but soot and shrieks billow up from within…
