The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 episode 6 preview video was released on the official KADOKAWAAnime Youtube channel on Monday—preview images were also released on the official site. After a stunning turn of events in last week’s episode, it looks as if episode 6 will be bringing its own big moments as well!
Last week’s episode left us on a big cliffhanger. With more coming to the light about who Ost truly is, it looks like Naofumi and company will have their hands full fighting Kyo in the upcoming episode. But the most hype moment from the preview is undoubtedly Rishia. It looks like we’ll finally be able to see what she’s capable of. Seeing as how she hasn’t had a chance to shine this season, it looks like episode 6 will present her with the perfect opportunity so many of us have been waiting for. And with L’Arc, Glass, and Therese possibly joining the fight, it looks like the upcoming episode will be the one to finally get The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 back on track!
Takama Suzuki will be making his seasonal directing debut for episode 6. Masayuki Kojima and Tomoko Hiramukai, also making their seasonal debuts, will work on the storyboard. Kota Sera (episodes 2 and 4) will reprise his role as chief animation director. And Koyanagi Keigo will remain the scriptwriter.
After holding a top-10 spot the first three weeks in our weekly poll, The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 has yet to make its way back. And with a few disappointing episodes in the past few weeks, it’s understandable. But with episode 5 becoming a turning point for the season and this week’s episode looking like it’s ready to up the ante, The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 has a chance to make its way back into the top-10. So make sure to vote for the series in our week five poll and bring The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 back into the top-10!
Episode 6 of The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 will air on Wednesday, May 11, on Crunchyroll.
