Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie anime revealed a preview for episode 5 which is set to air on May 7, 2022. A preview image (above) and a synopsis have been revealed on the official Twitter and website. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll with English subtitles.
The official website describes episode 5 plot as:
The long-awaited summer vacation! Izumi and his friends arrive at the river and decide to have a barbecue first. As they are preparing for the barbecue, everyone suddenly gets nervous, because Izumi is holding a kitchen knife! Even Shikimori rolls her eyes at the situation…
Izumi once again realizes how attracted he is to Shikimori, who can do anything, but he also learns about a new side of her. After the barbecue, everyone goes to the river for a swim and Izumi gets into trouble…
Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie anime is based on a manga by Keigo Maki, which is currently being serialized by Kodansha in English. Studio Doga Kobo is animating the series. Recently the production was temporarily halted due to a COVID-19 outbreak among the staff. The production committee issued a statement, saying that they were putting the health of the employees first and that the anime broadcast schedule might be affected by the delays. However, the crisis was averted and the anime has been broadcast on time so far every week.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and describes the plot as:

She has a beautiful smile and kind personality and always seems happy when she’s with Izumi.
