The anime aired for 76 episodes on the JNN network in Japan from January 2018 to June 2019. It then sprang an anime film titled Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion the Movie: The Marvelous Fast ALFA-X That Comes From the Future which was released in December 2019; and another anime series titled Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z which aired for 46 episodes from April 2021 to March 2022.

An arcade game titled Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion: Get the Card! Super Evolution Battle was developed and published by Takara-Tomy A.R.T.S, and released in 2018.
