The official website describes the story for Shirobuta Kizoku:
In the corrupt great nation of Kiryuu, a neglected obese child lives in a corner, abandoned by his estranged parents. Born as the only son of Count Kikunoi from the Kiryuu Empire, Hocho carries the memories of his previous life as a Japanese person. One day, he meets his half-brother Regulus, and learns that when he grows up, he will be killed over the succession rights. Accepting this future, Hocho cannot abandon his young brother, who has lost his mother, and decides to raise him.
He makes handmade cloth picture books, develops chawanmushi, and fully utilizes the skills from his previous life, like sewing and cooking! Adored by the pure and innocent Regulus, he finds himself becoming a doting parent (brother)! To pass on a richer land, he progresses step by step with reforms, sometimes involving the gods. A popular fantasy about young brothers managing their territory!
