The previously teased Dragon Ball x Fortnite collab begins today, and it was revealed the characters joining the game are Goku (Saiyan, Super Saiyan Blue, Ultra Instinct alt styles), Vegeta (Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Blue, and Super Saiyan Blue Evolved alt styles), Beerus and Bulma (Lab Coat alt Style). There are seven sets of quests, and players can collect Dragon Balls and increase their Power Level. Possible rewards are the Dragon Radar Back Bling, Emotes, Sprays, and Battle Pass levels. Collecting seven Dragon Balls gets you a Shenron Glider! The rewards are available until August 30, 2022, at 4 AM ET.
Another feature are the Versus Boards, which have taken place of the Bounty Boards. There is a Tournament of Power, taking place in all regions on August 18, 2022 in the Competitive playlist. It’s also possible to watch several Dragon Ball Super episodes in-game, as well as use the Kamehameha and Nimbus. For the full list of features, check the official website.
The collab has begun only days ahead of the US premiere of the DRAGON BALL SUPER: SUPER HERO movie, which is scheduled to premiere on August 19. Crunchyroll describes the story for the latest Dragon Ball movie:
