Singer TRUE released their special edition of Sound Euphonium: Ensemble Contest theme song titled “Ensemble” on Friday, August 4th. A music video featuring the song has also been uploaded on the artist’s official YouTube channel. Coupled with blackboard-style animation, the music video features a student’s life in school similar to the anime series Sound! Euphonium.
The special edition of “Ensemble” is available to purchase for 1,320 yen (~9 USD) and it features 4 tracks: “Ensemble,” “Time Machine,” and their instrumentals – all written by Miho Karasawa (TRUE) herself.
Debuting as TRUE in 2014, Miho started her singing career by performing the opening theme song for the anime Buddy Complex. She then went on to sing theme songs for other anime series, such as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Violet Evergarden, Sound! Euphonium, In the Land of Leadale, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, and Hina Logi ~from Luck & Logic~. In addition to singing, she also writes lyrics under her real name.
Having been streamed over 40 million times online, Violet Evergarden’s theme song “Sincerely” has become one of the artist’s signature songs. It has garnered a substantial following and even made appearances at anime concerts and events around the world. She was involved in composing music for the anime Aikatsu Stars! and Macross Delta, as well as for several character songs, artists, and voice actors including Eir Aoi and Inori Minase.
