The upcoming TV anime adaptation of KILL BLUE has added Snow Man idol Daisuke Sakuma to its cast as Shin Kohazame, a “pink-haired assassin affiliated with the Chinese organization Yugang.” Studio CUE is in charge of the animation production, with Hiro Kaburagi (Kimi ni Todoke, GREAT PRETENDER) as the director. The anime revealed a teaser trailer in December.

Sakuma, who previously also appeared Black Clover, commented:

“I’m Daisuke Sakuma, and I’ll be voicing Shin Kohazame. I’ve been reading KILL BLUE since it was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, and even back then, my favorite character was Shin Kohazame. So from the audition, I was determined to land this role. I’m truly thrilled that I was fortunate enough to be chosen to play Shin.

Shin is cool, but also a little strange. He’s serious, but also a little strange. I’m going to pour my heart so I can fully capture those sides of him. Thank you, and I look forward to your support.”
