Crunchyroll Senior Vice President Mitchel Berger commented on the prospects of Solo Leveling Season 3, telling Deadline at Cannes’ Marché du Film, “We just concluded Season 2, which did really well for us, so I’m sure there will be more content in future. We’re not sure exactly when, but it will be here and fans will continue to see the story.“

Berger also discussed the release rollout for Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Castle Movie 1 and the synergy between films like Mugen Train and streaming experiences like Solo Leveling. He also shared that Crunchyroll eyes major growth in India and Southeast Asia, among other territories.
Berger’s comments follow several other optimistic ones from staff affiliated with Solo Leveling:
- Solo Leveling producer Sota Furuhashi says he’s anxiously awaiting Season 3, but if it were up to him, he’d revisit it at the next Olympics to give the animators a proper rest.
- Furuhashi and Solo Leveling animation producer Atsushi Kaneko say making Season 3 happen will take all the support of the fans.
- Crunchyroll CEO Rahul Purini says he hopes Season 3 happens, but they need to find the right time due to the high demand for anime and the staff wanting to tackle other projects.

Solo Leveling Season 2 was a major hit with fans, delivering on the season-long build-up and teasing more hype to come. For the second year in a row, the series is up for the Hollywood Creative Alliance’s Astra TV Awards for Best Anime Series, joining The Apothecary Diaries, DAN DA DAN, Dragon Ball DAIMA, Fire Force, and Lazarus. The series won the award last year; producer Kaneko revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that A-1 Pictures has now received the trophy.
Crunchyroll streams both seasons of Solo Leveling in English subbed and dubbed, describing it:
They say whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, but that’s not the case for the world’s weakest hunter Sung Jinwoo. After being brutally slaughtered by monsters in a high-ranking dungeon, Jinwoo came back with the System, a program only he could see, that’s leveling him up in every way. Now, he’s inspired to discover the secrets behind his powers and the dungeon that spawned them.
