Spy Classroom anime introduced a new character, Erna, after the latest episode. Inori Minase is voicing the quiet girl, who also goes by Fool. A character trailer and visual are now available, and the key visuals for the anime were updated to reflect the change.
Studio feel is adapting the anime based on a light novel written by Takemachi and illustrated by Tomari. Keiichiro Kawaguchi is directing the anime, with Shinichi Inozume on the series composition. Sumie Kinoshita is in charge of the character designs. The series is known as Spy Room in Japan. The main cast includes:

- Nao Toyama as Sybilla
- Miku Ito as Grete
- Sumire Uesaka as Thea

The light novel written by Takemachi and illustrated by Tomari started serialization in 2020 in Fujimi Fantasia Bunko and currently has 6 volumes. In Japan, it s known as Spy Room. A manga adaptation by Kaname Seu is currently ongoing in Media Factory’s Comic Alive magazine. A short story light novel series is also currently ongoing. The light novel won the 32nd Fantasia Bunko award.
Yen Press licensed the light novel in English and describes the plot as:
Following a devastating military conflict, countries fight their wars in the shadows.
