Spy x Family Embarks on a New Mission in the New Shadowverse Collab

Everyone’s favorite spy family has a new mission: the digital card game Shadowverse has recently announced its latest collaboration event with the popular anime series Spy x Family. The main characters of Spy x Family, Anya, Loid, and Yor, are the new set of characters that will be joining the game along with a whole new event quest. They will start their new mission on September 26 during their v4.3.0 update which will run until PST 1 p.m. on October 23. Each character will come in as a special alternate-art leader card in the Special Order Shift Pack. Players must get these special leader cards to get the leader animation.

Getting these alternate-art leader cards can be difficult unless it’s a special event. Luckily, fans can receive a free Anya Leader for a limited time by completing the beginner-level quest. Below is a short video from the Shadowverse official YouTube channel that showcases Anya as a leader. The video features Anya as a part of the Runecraft class. It’s worth noting that it can be used for a Runecraft deck.

The official Japanese X (formerly Twitter) account announced that they will reveal Yor Forger on September 21 at 19:00 JST so, it won’t be long until fans can see Yor as a leader in action.

Shadowverse is a strategic, multiplayer digital card game. It has over 400 cards, all classified under one of the eight classes in the game. It was developed by Cygames and has inspired two anime series: Shadowverse and Shadowverse Flame. Spy x Family is not the first time the game has collaborated with anime titles, with characters from series such as Code Geass and Kaguya-sama: Love Is War joining the fray. In the past, Shadowverse also had collabs with Hatsune Miku, Hello Kitty, Uma Musume’s cast, and more. The game is available to play worldwide and players can get it on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or on Steam
