Spy x Family Opening Theme by Official Hige Dandism Now Streaming

The Spy X Family opening theme by Official Hige Dandism is now fully available on multiple music-streaming platforms. The digital release announcement was made on the band’s official Twitter, together with the reveal of their music video. The opening theme song is titled, “Mixed Nuts” and can now be streamed on Spotify and Apple Music. It can also be downloaded from the iTunes Store.

Official Hige Dandism also expressed their thoughts about the song-writing process on the Spy X Family official website. Just like the ending theme by Gen Hoshino, they wrote the song with the family theme in mind, as well as Anya’s love for peanuts. The animated opening theme will be revealed in episode 2, which will air on Saturday, April 16.

Official Hige Dandism is a Japanese pop band consisting of four band members. They signed with Pony Canyon in 2018 and their single, “Pretender,” ranked number three on Billboard Japan in 2019. Some of their notable songs in the anime industry include the theme songs of Tokyo Revengers and Hello World.

Spy x Family is a manga by Tatsuya Endo that follows the story of a spy named Twilight on a secret mission to procure a family and infiltrate an elite private school. Unbeknownst to him, the wife he’s chosen is actually an assassin while the child he’s adopted is a telepath. The anime is currently animated by CloverWorks and WIT Studio.
