STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (Part 7) revealed the preview for Episode 1, which will be a 47-minute special covering Stage 1 of the race. STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure 1st STAGE releases tomorrow, March 19, 2026.

It’s 1890, in America, the Steel Ball Run — the first horse racing championship across the North American continent — was about to begin. Johnny Joestar, once being hailed as a genius jockey, is now paralysed and lost in despair. He finds hope in the mysterious phenomena caused by Gyro Zeppeli, an outlaw aiming to win the race, and determines to participate in the 4,000 miles of grueling adventure.

Steel Ball Run is the seventh part of Hirohiko Araki’s legendary JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga. Set in late 19th-century America, the story follows former prodigy jockey Johnny Joestar and mysterious outlaw Gyro Zeppeli as they compete in a transcontinental horse race for a massive cash prize. Beneath the surface, however, they face dangerous conspiracies that threaten to take over the competition.
The manga by Hirohiro Araki began in 1987, while the Steel Ball Run part ran from 2004 to 2011. The full staff for the latest anime installment includes:
