WeebCon 2026 is bringing an impressive roster of voice actors to this year’s convention, with over 40 confirmed English dub voice actors and 5 incredible Japanese voice actors. Japanese voice actors include the legendary voices behind fan-favorite characters from Naruto, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, BLEACH, Dorohedoro, Chainsaw Man, and more. On the dub side, there are genuinely more voice actors than I thought capable of fitting on a single web page. Notably, the dub guests include multiple voice actors from DAN DA DAN, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Hunter x Hunter, Chainsaw Man, Gachiakuta, My Hero Academia, and so many more.

Last year featured a similarly stacked lineup and the convention has remained consistent in making sure that voice acting talent is across a wide variety of series and a wide variety of genres for those series. What I am especially looking forward to though are the panels that feature both sub and dub voice actors. Thus far, panels included on the schedule include a Dorohedoro panel featuring both Wataru Takagi and Aleks Le, the Japanese and English dub voices of Caiman, respectively. There are other duos present at the convention, including the recently announced Kikunosuke Toya and Ryan Colt Levy, the Japanese and English dub voices of Denji from Chainsaw Man, respectively. A double voice actor panel for Chainsaw Man has not yet been announced, but even the chance to meet both of these amazing voice actors is one worth attending for. Also worth mentioning alongside the voice actor guests are the many talented V-Tubers who will be in attendance virtually — there are actually too many to count.

The current schedule includes a variety of panels featuring voice actors, breakdowns of series, some fan-led panels exploring some insightful topics, and even some panels around building a “fan service body” through physical fitness. One thing to note as you’re browsing the schedule is that not all events have been announced yet and not all anime events are necessarily tagged as the “anime” category — some main events panels are only tagged as Main Event. Keep that in mind when building your schedule; you may as well take a look at all of the events rather than filtering to make sure you don’t miss anything.

Some Friday events to highlight include a maid cafe featuring Megami Maids, the aforementioned Dorohedoro panel ahead of Season 2 premiering on April 1st, multiple Japanese voice actor spotlights, and an 18+ DAN DA DAN truth or dare game featuring the cast. Saturday features more legendary voice actors, a lot more specific series’ panels featuring attending voice actors, an anime version of the improv comedy game Wild n’ Out called Anime Actin Out, some cosplay focused events, and an Atlus meetup that I will definitely be going to. Sunday, as with most conventions, is a bit lighter, but still has some awesome voice actor panels and a lot of interesting anime panels including a Magical Girl Jeopardy game.

Overall, WeebCon looks very good this year and has a substantial amount of exciting content across all three days of the convention. For those looking to stay at the Gaylord Texan (the resort hotel where the convention is taking place), the fine folks at WeebCon have been kind enough to extend the con discount when booking through the website through March 23rd. As someone who has stayed closed to conventions and far from conventions, I can confidently tell you that staying close feels so worth it after a days of walking tens of thousands of steps. Whether you stay close or not, tickets to the convention are available on the WeebCon website.
