Super Psychic Policeman Chojo manga by Shun Numa is getting an anime adaptation set to premiere in 2026. The teaser visual and main staff were also revealed.
Studio Arvo Animation (Kowloon Generic Romance) is animating with Junichi Yamamoto (Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion) as director. Hayashi Mori (Cells at Work! Code Black) is handling the script, and Masakatsu Sasaki (Tonikaku Kawaii) is designing the characters.
The anime is based on a manga by Shun Numa, which was initially a one-shot, published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on April 24, 2023. It was then turned into a full series, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2024.
VIZ Media is licensing it in English and describes it as follows:
On her first day at the West Chinjuku Police Station, Ippongi realizes she got the short end of the stick: Her new partner, Chojo, uses his psychic powers to do everything except work. But after some yakuza threaten to take over Ippongi’s family’s dojo, Chojo begins to take his job more seriously, and the pair embark on a comedic whirlwind solving crimes, catching bad guys, and blundering their way through life as police officers.
