Taisho Otome Fairy Tale Anime Reveals New Trailer and Opening Song

The upcoming anime Taisho Otome Fairy Tale has received a new trailer. The official website for the anime uploaded it earlier this day, September 1, 2021. The show will air on October 8, 2021.

The video features the anime’s opening song titled “Otome no Kokoroe” by GARNiDELiA (The Irregular at Magic High School Op 2). It also includes some of the anime’s cast such as:

Yūsuke Kobayashi (Natsuki Subaru) as Tamahiko Shima
Saya Aizawa (Chiharu Andou) as Yuzuki Tachibana
Yume Miyamoto (Kotobuki Awano) as Tamako Shima

Chika Anzai (Mina Carolina) as Ryō Atsumi
Ayasa Itō (Kaoruko Hanayagi) as Kotori Shiratori
Shunichi Toki (Cecil Clayton) as Hakaru Shiratori

Taisho Otome Fairy Tale is a Japanese manga series by Sana Kirioka. Shueisha started publishing the manga in July 2015 until September 2017 in Jump Square magazine. Likewise, the same author made a sequel of it titled Shōwa Otome Fairy Tale. Shueisha also serialized it from August 2018 to May 2020 in Shounen Jump+ magazine.

Jun Hatori will be the one directing the anime. Studio SynergySP (Battle Game in 5 Seconds) will take care of the show’s production. In addition, you can also check out the key visual of the series below:

Series Synopsis

During the Taisho era, the youngest son of the prestigious Shima family injured his arm in an accident. Thus, he is now living in a rural area to take care of his health. One day, he met a girl named Yuzuki Tachibana, who claims to be his future wife. Through this meeting, both of their lives started to change and their new journey begins. (via ACN edit)
