Tales of Wedding Rings anime’s official website has revealed the preview images and synopsis for episode 1. Staple Entertainment is animating the series, and it will be streaming on Crunchyroll starting on January 6th. You can check out the preview images below:
Tales of Wedding Rings Episode 1 Synopsis
Sato, an ordinary student, has been unable to tell his childhood friend Hime that he is in love with her. One day, Hime suddenly tells Sato that she has to move far away from him. Unable to give up on his love, Sato chases after Hime and jumps into the light gate she entered, only to find that he is no longer in Japan, but in another world called Arnulus.

The Tales of Wedding Ring anime series is based on the manga series of the same name. It is written and illustrated by Maybe and is published by Square Enix and is serialized in their Monthly GanGan publication. The manga series has 1.4 million copies in circulation. The anime is directed by Takashi Noya (Real Girl) and produced by studio Staple Entertainment (Vermeil In Gold). Saori Nakashiki is in charge of the character design and Deko Akao is in charge of the series’ script. The main cast of the series are as follows:
- Sato voiced by Gen Sato (Chrome from Dr. Stone)
- Hime voiced by Akari Kitou (Kanata Knoe from LoveLive! Nijisaki Gakuen School Idol)
- Nefritis voiced by Miyuri Shimabukuro (Carole from Carole & Tuesday)
