That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond (Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Guren no Kizuna-hen) premiered in Japan on November 25, 2022, while Crunchyroll released the film internationally in 2023. Most recently, the Tensura: Scarlet Bond movie also premiered in theaters in Singapore and Malaysia through Muse Asia. A three-part original video animation will air this fall of 2023, while the third season of the anime will premiere in the spring of 2024.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Tensura (Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken) or Tensura is a light novel by the author Fuse and illustrator Mitz Vah. The franchise also has a manga adaptation by Taiki Kawakami, multiple spin-off projects, and an anime adaptation by Studio 8bit. Crunchyroll streams the anime internationally while Muse Asia streams the anime in Asian regions. Muse Asia describes the plot of Tensura as:
Corporate worker Mikami Satoru is stabbed by a random killer and is reborn in an alternate world, but he turns out to be reborn a slime! Thrown into this new world with the name Rimuru, he begins his quest to create a world that’s welcoming to all races.
