When I first started writing TBATE as a web novel years ago, I never imagined it would one day reach this point. This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support from every fan along the way. I can’t wait to celebrate the premiere next year with all of you, whether you’re a long-time reader or a new viewer.”

This collaboration represents a major milestone for us and US created webcomics, and we can’t wait to see the excitement it sparks among our community and beyond.”

The The Beginning After The End (TBATE) is a web novel by TurtleMe, which features illustrations by Fuyuki23. There is also a webtoon adaptation by the same artist, which is available on Tapas (digital) and Yen Press (print). The series currently has 482 chapters (or 1465 episodes), while Yen Press has published 6 volumes in English so far. It returned today with new episodes, and Tapas describes the story:
King Grey has unrivaled strength, wealth, and prestige in a world governed by martial ability. However, solitude lingers closely behind those with great power. Beneath the glamorous exterior of a powerful king lurks the shell of man, devoid of purpose and will.

Reincarnated into a new world filled with magic and monsters, the king has a second chance to relive his life. Correcting the mistakes of his past will not be his only challenge, however. Underneath the peace and prosperity of the new world is an undercurrent threatening to destroy everything he has worked for, questioning his role and reason for being born again.
