Tezuka Productions animated both seasons of the anime, with Satoshi Kuwabara serving as the director for the second season. Keiichirou Oochi and Mayumi Morita handle the show’s script duties. The voice cast of the show includes:

  • Asami Seto as Akane Hououji
  • Azumi Waki as Shiragiku Ono
  • Aya Yamane as Riho Tuskishima
  • Masaaki Mizunaka as Hayato Kasukabe

  • Ayana Taketatsu as Ririka Chiyoda

When Hayato “As big as a sushi roll” Kasukabe moves to Tokyo, it seems like there’s a bright future ahead of him. But life never quite lets people enjoy it. Just as he is about to embark on his journey as a university student, he receives the heartbreaking news that his grandmother, who raised him after the loss of his parents, has passed away.

But when he goes back home to deal with her estate instead of coming home to an empty house, he’s surprised to find five beautiful girls living in his childhood home and working at his grandmom’s failing café. As their chance encounter changes his mind, he decides that instead of selling the failing café, he’ll save it with their help in memory of his grandmother.
