The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses season 2 will begin airing on July 4, 2024. A new trailer and key visual were released following the announcement. It is also worth noting that the new details focus on the rival Café Restaurant Family, built close to the main Familia Café Terrace. Studio Tezuka Productions returns to animate the sequel. The cast for the “Café Restaurant Family” staff includes:
- Rie Takahashi as Mao Takasaki
- Ayana Taketatsu as Ririka Chiyoda
- Reina Ueda as Moemi Souya
- Kana Hanazawa as Hekiru Yoshino
- Yu Serizawa as Valentina Azuma

The first season of The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses aired from April to June 2023 and was directed by Satoshi Kuwabara. Keiichiro Ochi handled the script for the series while Masatsune Noguchi was in charge of the character designs. Shu Kanematsu and Miki Sakurai composed the music. No staff has been announced for Season 2. The main cast for the anime includes:

- Sayumi Suzushiro as Ami Tsuruga
- Asami Seto as Akane Hououji
- Ruriko Aoki as Ouka Makuzawa

The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses anime is based on the manga by Koji Seo which began its serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine on February 17, 2021. The ongoing manga currently has 15 volumes published with the next one set to release on February 16, 2024. Kodansha USA picked up the English license for the series in 2022 and has since released the first ten volumes.
Kodansha USA describes the plot as:
When Hayato’s grandmother passed, he planned to sell her rundown café on the shore—not realizing that it was also home to five young women who call themselves her family?! Their desperation to keep the café open convinces Hayato to give it a shot…but even their best intentions might not be enough to make it work! And can he even work with these five unruly women? No matter what, he’s got his work cut out for him! A fun new romcom by the author of Fuuka and Suzuka!
