The Dangers in My Heart (Bokuyaba) has received numerous illustrations starring Anna Yamada in support of the series’ upcoming novel adaptation. The novel is set to release in Japan on September 25, featuring 4 stories and teasing events from 10 years in the future. Check out the new illustrations below:

The official MF Bunko account teases the illustration with “Who is holding Yamada’s hand…?”

Takuya Fujima (@fujimatakuya on X) is known as the original creator of Weiß Survive R. The artist was also in charge of the original character design for shows like R-15, Warlords of Sigrdrifa, and, more recently, Highspeed Etoile. The illustration is teased with: “Speaking of Yamada, this is what’s under the uniform!”

The illustrator duo Kinokonomi (Kino and Konomi, @konominoco on X) also shared an illustration. It features Anna Yamada in her casual clothes, with a shy expression from Kyotaro. The illustrations is described: “Thinking about casual outfits in the room…?”

The Dangers in My Heart manga is written and illustrated by Norio Sakurai. It is serialized in Manga Cross, with 10 volumes released as of April 2024. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the title in English, while HIDIVE is streaming the anime. They describe the story:
Fascinated by the macabre, Kyotaro fantasizes about acting on his twisted thoughts to the detriment of his classmates. His heart was dark until an encounter with Anna lit a spark within it in a classic tale of boy meets girl.
Studio Shin-Ei Animation animated the The Dangers in My Heart (Bokuyaba) anime adaptation. Hiroaki Akagi directed both seasons. The anime absolutely dominated our rankings in the Winter 2024 season, completing the first-ever season sweep of the weekly charts and then taking home 13 awards in our seasonal ranking.
