The Dangers in My Heart anime is getting a season 3, and it will premiere in 2027. The anime’s character designer, Masato Katsumata, also released a commemorative illustration. The staff for the third season has yet to be announced.
Studio Shin-Ei Animation animated both seasons with Hiroaki Akagi as director. Jukki Hanada wrote the series composition, and Kensuke Ushio composed the music. A film adaptation premiered in Japanese theaters on February 13, 2026, while HIDIVE brought it to the US on February 16 (subtitled) and February 18 (English dub). The cast includes:

The anime is based on the manga written and illustrated by Norio Sakurai. It started its serialization in Weekly Shonen Champion in March 2018. Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing the title in English and they describe it as:
