Clover Press has officially launched the Kickstarter campaign for The DC Art of Bruno Redondo, the second volume in its premium The DC Art Of… series spotlighting artists behind the DC multiverse.

The 9” x 12” hardcover has more than 200 pages and collects work from three-time Eisner Award-winning artist Bruno Redondo, highlighting his runs on Nightwing and Injustice: Gods Among Us, along with selections from Justice League, Batman: Black & White, Harley Quinn: Black, White & Red, and other DC titles.

As part of the campaign launch, Anime Corner can exclusively share the sketchbook edition cover featuring Nightwing. The preview image is marked “ART NOT FINAL.”

The sketchbook edition is one of several tiers available through the campaign.

“I have always been an avid fan of art books from the artists I admire,” said Redondo. “I consider them a great chance to learn and look behind the curtain of their creative process. So having the opportunity to share my own art book is quite a responsibility. I’m trying to be as open as possible to it and build a new bridge of communication through this, as a complement to my comic books. I hope you enjoy it, as well as some of the surprises we are working on!”

Redondo’s DC career includes collaborations with Tom Taylor on Injustice and later on Nightwing, beginning with issue #78. Their run on Dick Grayson earned Eisner Awards for Best Continuing Series and Best Single Issue, while Redondo also received the Eisner Award for Best Cover Artist.

The book will feature an introduction by Taylor and include rarely seen sketches and commissions, Redondo’s Nightwing covers, a fold-out edition of Nightwing #87, a sticker pack, a poster pack, and additional campaign-exclusive items. Available formats include hardcover, dust jacket, slipcase, signed slipcase, and the sketchbook edition.

“I’ve known Bruno since his days on Injustice, and knew he had an amazing career ahead of him,” said Clover Press Publisher Hank Kanalz. “I’m so proud of the extent to which he has risen, including multiple Eisners and being on the top of many writers’ request lists. And I think he’s just getting started!”

The Kickstarter campaign is now live.
