The Demon King’s Daughter Is Too Kind is officially getting a TV anime in 2026, revealing a teaser visual and trailer alongside the main voice cast and staff. Studio EMT Squared (Beast Tamer) will handle the animation, with Masahiko Ohta as the director. The main staff will also include Takashi Aoshima handling the series composition, Yuki Nakano designing the characters, and Misawa Yasuhiro composing the music.

The main voice cast consists of Misaki Kuno as Do, Akio Otsuka as the Demon King Ahriman, and Ayaka Ohashi as Jahi. You can hear all their voices in the teaser trailer below.

The Demon King’s Daughter Is Too Kind – Anime Teaser Trailer

The story follows Do, an impossibly kind daughter of the Demon King Ahriman, who suddenly halts his world conquest out of worry for her gentle heart. Though born a demon, Do’s compassion heals monsters, humans, and angels alike. Determined to toughen her up, Ahriman’s aide Jahi puts Do through all kinds of trials, with each one accidentally making her kindness grow even stronger, slowly changing their harsh world in unexpected ways.

Yuya Sakamoto writes and draws the The Demon King’s Daughter Is Too Kind (Mao no Musume wa Yasashi Sugiru!!) manga, which began serialization on Hakusensha’s Manga Park in May 2019. There is a total of 5 published volumes as of August 2024. You can see the teaser visual for the anime below.
