The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy Gets New Trailer, October 2023 Premiere

The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy revealed a new trailer and key visual, along with October 2023 premiere. Studio Passione is animating the adaptation with Hiroyuki Morita as the director. The theme songs for the anime are “1000-nen Ai” by Chiai Fujikawa (opening) and “Yururi” by Kaho as the ending.

Ai Kakuma, Tomofumi Ikezoe and Daisuke Hirakawa are joining the cast as Roselia, Blackas and Leonis. The first trailer, revealed in March of this year, introduced the main cast which includes:

  • Marina Inoue as Leonis Death Magnus
  • Yui Ishikawa as Riselia Ray Crystalia
  • Hiromi Igarashi as Elphine Fillet
  • Aya Suzaki as Regina Mercedes
  • Honoka Kuroki as Sakuya Sieglinde
  • Arisa Nakada as Shary Shadow Assassin

The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy (Seiken Gakuin no Maken Tsukai) light novel is currently on its 12th volume. It began serialization in 2019 under the MF Bunko J imprint. Manga adaptation with art by Asuka Keigen is also ongoing in Shonen Ace magazine. Six volumes are out (42 chapters).

Yen Press licensed The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy light novel series in English and describes the plot as:
