The Fire Princess Joins the Cast in Tales of Wedding Rings Episode 5 Preview

Tales of Wedding Rings anime has revealed the preview images and synopsis for episode 5, slated to air on February 3. Staple Entertainment is animating the series, which is streaming on Crunchyroll. You can check out the preview images below:

Tales of Wedding Rings Episode 5 Synopsis

Sato and his group continue their journey to marry the next princess of the ring. Hime, however, is very jealous of Sato’s care for Nefritis. As their relationship becomes somewhat strained, they arrive in Needakitta, the land of the ring of fire that is built on a huge moving platform and travels around like a caravan. Sato proposes an “arranged marriage” to Granart, the princess of that country, in order to marry her.

The official website for Tales of Wedding Rings also shared the main staff members for episode 5 along with the preview, and they are as follows:

The Tales of Wedding Ring anime series is based on the manga series of the same name. It is written and illustrated by Maybe and is published by Square Enix and is serialized in their Monthly GanGan publication. The manga series has 1.4 million copies in circulation. The anime is directed by Takashi Noya (Real Girl) and produced by studio Staple Entertainment (Vermeil In Gold). Saori Nakashiki is in charge of the character design and Deko Akao is in charge of the series’ script. The main cast members of the series are as follows:

  • Sato voiced by Gen Sato (Chrome from Dr. Stone)
  • Hime voiced by Akari Kitou (Kanata Knoe from LoveLive! Nijisaki Gakuen School Idol)
  • Nefritis voiced by Miyuri Shimabukuro (Carole from Carole & Tuesday)
  • Granart voiced by Hitomi Ueda (Michiko Tendou from Chainsaw Man)
  • Saphir voiced by Ai Kakuma (Mashiro from Hirogaru Sky Precure)
  • Amber voiced by Mikako Komatsu (Maki from Jujutsu Kaisen)

The manga was licensed and is currently published by Yen Press and is described as:
When Sato’s best friend, Hime, tells him that she is moving, he decides to follow her. After crashing her wedding in another world, he ends up as the groom when she suddenly kisses him! A prophecy states that her husband is destined to be the Ring King – a hero of immense power who will save the world from the Abyssal King!
