The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior Season 2 unveiled a new visual along with the theme song artists on Wednesday. The anime’s opening theme song “Ego” is performed by Retroriron, and the ending theme song “Tarareba” is sung by Garakuta. Additionally, Ryota Suzuki joins the cast as Harrison. The series is slated to premiere on April 7.
Studio OLM’s Team Yoshioka is returning to animate the second season, with Norio Nitta as the director. Other returning staff members include Deko Akao as series scriptwriter, Hitomi Kono as character designer, and Hanae Nakamura, Tatsuhiko Saiki, Kanade Sakuma, and Junko Nakajima as music composers. Fairouz Ai reprises her role as the main character Pride. A teaser trailer was released last September,
The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior anime is based on a light novel series written by Tenichi with illustrations by Suzunosuke. It was launched on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in April 2018 and was later published in print by Ichijinsha in June 2019.
Seven Seas Entertainment licenses both the light novels and manga in English, and they describe the story:
