The anime adaptation of Reiji Miyajima’s (Rent a Girlfriend) The Shiunji Family Children has revealed a new visual and trailer, as well as an April 8, 2025 premiere date. Studio Doga Kobo is animating.
The new trailer features the opening theme song “Honey Lemon” by NACHERRY. You can check it out below.
Masaki Terasoma has joined the voice cast as Kaname Shiunji, the father. The previously announced main voice cast for the anime includes:
- Chika Anzai as Banri Shiunji
- Marika Kono as Seiha Shiunji
- Rie Takahashi as Oka Shiunji
- Hana Hishikawa as Minami Shiunji
- Kana Ichinose as Kotono Shiunji
- Yuichiro Umehara as Arata Shiunji
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Shion Shiunji
All seven ‘siblings’ are featured on the new key visual.

The Shiunji Family Children manga by Reiji Miyajima has been serialized in Hakusensha’s Young Animal magazine since February 2022. Yen Press has licensed it in English. The story follows the Shiunji family, a family of of two sons and five daughters who live a rich life thanks to their father. The eldest son, Arata, is constantly teased by his sisters, but he still values family over all else. However, as revealed in the trailer above, their father reveals a huge secret when the youngest daughter turns 15.
