The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses TV anime has been announced, revealing the first visuals, trailer, staff, and cast. Studio CONNECT (Ayakashi Triangle) will handle the adaptation, which is set to premiere in 2025.
Noriaki Akitaya will direct, while the rest of the main staff includes Michiko Yokote on the series compositon, Takao Sano as the character designer, and Shun Narita as the music composer. You can watch the first teaser trailer below.
The main voice cast includes:
- Shunsuke Takeuchi as Toto
- Iori Saeki as Ciel
- Hitomi Ueda as Anemone
- Haruka Shiraishi as Goa
The story is described:
The brave hero Toto possesses great skill, but due to his extreme shyness, he has been unable to form a party and remains stuck in the Starting Town. One day, he is suddenly invited to join a party by three beautiful women—Ciel, Anemone, and Goa! Excited for his long-awaited journey, Toto is filled with determination… but little does he know, these women are dead set on killing him!?
An extreme introvert who faints at the slightest hint of romantic tension, and three women who each have their own reasons for wanting him dead—thus begins this harem DEATH romantic comedy!

Norishiro-chan writes the Kizetsu Yusha to Ansatsu Hime (The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses) manga, with art by Yukiji Setsuda. It has been serialized in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine since October 2022.
