On March 8, 2021, the upcoming anime series The World Ends With You unveils its 3rd promotional video.
The series is slated to premiere on April 9, 2021 and will be produced by DOMERICA and Shin-Ei Animation, under the direction of Kazuya Ichikawa. In addition, the ending theme song of the series was also revealed.

Now he and his partner must fight to survive a life-or-death game in this twisted tale with more turns than the urban labyrinth of Tokyo they’re trapped in. In the crowded chaos of Tokyo, players of the Reapers’ Game must complete daily missions or face total erasure.

Moreover, ALI will be performing the opening theme song of the series titled “Teenage City Riot” featuring R-指定, while ASCA will be performing the ending theme song titled “Carpe Diem.”
What’s more is that “carpe diem” is widely known and used as an inspirational quote. Well, “carpe diem” is actually a Latin aphorism, usually translated “seize the day.”
