The World’s Finest Assassin Season 2 Reveals Main Trailer, Key Visual, Cast, January 2027 Release

The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat Season 2 anime revealed the main key visual and trailer, along with additional cast and a January 2027 release date. The anime previously confirmed a 2027 release date with a teaser video.

Studio SILVER LINK is returning to animate, along with Masafumi Tamura as director. The sequel was announced in September 2023.

Also returning are Eri Osada as the character designer, Katsuhiko Takayama to handle the series composition, and Kenichi Kuroda on the music. The new cast includes:

• Sumire Uesaka as Epona
• Yusuke Tonozaki as Neusch

Epona is described as the Hero and eldest son of the Rhiannon Baron family. Epona possesses immense physical strength and magical power, along with 30 S- and A-rank skills, and is described as nearly indestructible. As the Hero, Epona is the only one capable of defeating demons and the Demon Lord, while also being Lugh’s assassination target.

Neusch enters the Royal Knights Academy’s S Class tied with Lugh for first place. He is the legitimate son of the Gefis ducal family, one of the four great ducal houses, and is described as talented in both academics and combat. He is also ambitious and wants Lugh and Tarte as future subordinates.

The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat (Sekai Saiko no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru) anime is based on the light novel series written by Rui Tsukiyo (Redo of Healer) and illustrated by Reia. It was first published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website, while Kadokawa acquired the series and began publishing it in February 2019. Yen Press has licensed the light novel in English. There is also a manga adaptation by Hamao Sumeragi.
