Episode 11 preview images and trailer of There’s No Freaking Way I’ll Be Your Lover! Unless… anime has been unveiled. Toshiyuki Yahagi is directing and doing the storyboard for the episode slated to premiere on September 16. Naruhisa Arakawa continues to write the episode’s script. Natsumi Uchinuma is collaborating with Yahagi on the storyboard, while Hiroaki Matsushima is also credited as episode director.
There’s No Freaking Way I’ll be Your Lover! Unless… anime is animated by studio MOTHER. It is based on a light novel written by Teren Mikami with illustrations provided by Eku Takeshima (Whisper Me a Love Song) and was published in 2020. The voice cast consists of the following:
- Kanna Nakamura as Renako Amaori
- Saori Onishi as Mai Ouzuka
- Yukari Anzai as Ajisai Sena
- Kana Ichinose as Satsuki Koto
- Takako Tanaka as Kaho Koyanagi
- Mayu Sagara as Haruna Amaori
The synopsis of the series is as follows:
There’s No Way I’ll be Your Lover! Unless… (abbreviated: WATANARE) is a non-stop girls’ love comedy set in a school environment with a cast of richly individual characters. The main character, Renako Amaori, who had a lonely time in junior high school, makes her debut in high school and meets her classmate, school superstar Mai Oduka. The two share each other’s worries and become secret friends…
