TO BE HERO X revealed the main trailer, featuring all the main characters and introducing the ending theme song by SennaRin. The new trailer was released at AnimeJapan 2025, coming after a series of individual character trailers for each of the top 10 heroes. They included:
- Natsuki Hanae as Rank 10 Nice
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Rank 9 E-Soul
- Koichi Yamadera as Rank 8 Ahu
- Inori Minase as Rank 7 Lucky Cyan
- Ayane Sakura as Rank 6 Loli
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Rank 5 Little Johnny
- Yuichi Nakamura as Rank 4 Ghostblade
- Koki Uchiyama as Rank 3 Dragon Boy
- Kana Hanazawa as Rank 2 Queen
- Mamoru Miyano as Rank 1 X
Both the opening theme “INERTIA” by SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]: Rei and the ending theme “KONTINUUM” by SennaRin will be released on June 11. Both can be heard in the new trailer below.

The second visual was recently revealed, also featuring the top 10 heroes:
Li Haoling, founder of Haoliners Animation League and the director of Link Click, is directing TO BE HERO X. Hiroyuki Sawano is composing the music. Crunchyroll describes the story:
A world where outstanding heroes are applauded. Here, “trust” creates superheroes. If people believe “he can fly,” he will gain the ability to fly. Conversely, even if a hero has special powers, if he loses trust, he will also lose his powers. Trust is collected as data, and the ranking of heroes changes depending on the value. Once every two years, the top heroes gather to compete in a hero tournament. Their performance there updates their “trust value,” and the ranking is reconstructed. The absolute hero who stands at the top of the rankings, people call him “X”…
