Tsuyokute New Saga anime revealed a new trailer, along with a new visual, voice cast, and a July 2025 release date. The anime was originally scheduled for July 2023, but it got delayed for 2 years due to ‘various circumstances.’
There has also been a change of studios. SOTSU will be working together with Studio Clutch (established in February 2024, this is their first anime credit). Previously, studios Yokohama Animation Laboratory, Makaria and SOTSU were credited for the animation. You can watch the new trailer below.
Including the new additions, the voice cast for the Tsuyokute New Saga anime includes:
- Yuma Uchida as Kyle
- Hiro Shimono as Seran
- Ai Fairouz as Riize
- Masami Seto as Urza
- Minami Takahashi as Sildonia
- Kaori Maeda as Milena
- Hiroki Yasumoto as Zenthos
- Riho Sugiyama as Miranda
- Rie Hikisaka as Gou
- Tetsu Inada as Gazas

Masayuki Abe wrote the Tsuyokute New Saga (also known as New Saga Plus) light novel, which featured illustrations by Ryuta Fuse. It was published by AlphaPolis from 2013 to 2018 and completed in 10 volumes. There is also manga adaptation by Jun Miura, which ran from February 2014 to July 2023 and also ended with 10 volumes. Alpha Manga licensed the manga in English, describing the story:
After a grueling battle, the magic knight Kyle finally defeats the demon lord… or so he believes. He wakes up to find himself in the land that had been destroyed in his past life. He is reunited with the precious person he thought he had lost forever. To stop the human world from being destroyed again, along with his friends, Kyle uses his memory from his previous life to once again save the world! A fantasy saga about a brave knight!
