Uglymug, Epicfighter anime revealed a new key visual, along with the voice cast of the other Absolute God, Karina. Studio WHITE FOX is in charge of the animation, with Toshiyuki Sone as the director. The anime was announced in November 2024, and it is streaming on Crunchyroll.
Chika Anzai voices Karina, who can be seen in the new visual below. The voice actress commented on her role:
I am Chika Anzai, and I will be playing Karina. The impact of the title first drew me in, and after reading the original work and script, I was fascinated. Just when you think the word “Absolute God” brings this thrilling sense of invincibility, you also realize that everyone secretly carries heavy, delicate burdens… That contrast was carefully crafted in the recording sessions. Even though I joined partway through, the atmosphere at the studio was warm and welcoming, making it a very comfortable experience. For some of Karina’s lines, the staff even changed microphones and recording methods, so I’m also excited to see how it turns out in the broadcast. As we head into the climax, I hope you’ll look forward to it!

Uglymug, Epicfighter (Busamen Gachi Faita) is a Japanese web novel by Ryo Hiromatsu, serialized on Shosetsuka ni Naro from February 2015 to October 2022. A light novel version, illustrated by Akira Banpai, was published by Kobunsha in May 2018.
The series received a manga adaptation illustrated by Osamu Kozuki, serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan from November 2017 to December 2020, with six volumes released from April 2018 to February 2021. The manga is available in English on Square Enix’s Manga Up! Global app, which features the following summary:
