The previously announced Utagoe wa Mille-Feuille anime adaptation revealed a TV anime format alongside a 2025 release date. No other details were given at the time of writing.
The Utagoe wa Mille-Feuille anime adaptation was first announced in 2023 during its “UtaMilu Event Vol. 1 ~happy to sing~,” event for the music-themed mixed-media project. The project was created in 2022 by Pony Canyon and Takuya Yamanaka of The Oral Cigarettes. The theme for the project is a group of high schoolers doing acapella music performances.
The character lineup for the Utagoe wa Mille-Feuille project is composed of:

- Musubu Mayumori (CV: Yūko Natsuyoshi)
- Airi Kojo (CV: Kanoko Sudo)
- Rei “Reirei” Konoe (CV: Misato Matsuoka)

- Yako “Kuma-chan” Kumai (CV: Haruka Aikawa)
The news related to the anime also follows the project’s recent announcement of its fourth single. The previous singles are “SINGING,” “POPPIN’ TIME,” and “TREASURE” respectively. Aside from releasing singles and holding special events, the unit also regularly uploads an audio drama on its official YouTube channel, as well as a mini-series documenting the creative process behind the voice actresses doing the music and content for the project.
