Additionally, in the statement, the voice actress greeted everyone with a happy new year and also thanked her fans for their continuous support. She also pointed out that she will continue to focus on her work and pursue her passion.
Kanae Ito is a voice actress affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production. Her notable roles are in titles such as Shugo Chara! as Amu Hinamori, A Certain Scientific Railgun as Ruiko Saten, To Love Ru as Nana Astar Deviluke, The World God Only Knows as Elsie de Lute Ima, Hanasaku Iroha: Blossoms for Tomorrow as Ohana Matsumae, Haganai: I Don’t Have Many Friends as Sena Kashiwazaki, The Ambition of Oda Nobuna as Nobuna Oda, Sword Art Online as Yui, The Devil Is a Part-Timer! as Suzuno Kamazuki.
She won the Best Rookie Actress Award in the 4th annual Seiyu Awards with her roles as Mihoshi Akeno in At The Mercy of The Sky and Kome Suzukawa in Taisho Baseball Girls. The following year, she was awarded the Best Supporting Actress award in the 5th Seiyu Awards with her performance as Elucia de Lute Ima in The World God Only Knows and Sanae Nagatsuki in Squid Girl.
