Maaya Sakamoto voiced Haruko Akagi in Slam Dunk series’ latest film The First Slam Dunk, which premiered on Saturday. Maaya Sakamoto is known for her roles as Shinobu Oshino in Monogatari series and Mari Makinami Illustrious in Evangellion series.
The voice actress’s voice talent agency Fortunerest on Saturday quote-tweeted a video post by the anime’s official Twitter account, saying that the film premiered today on December 3 (Sat.) and Maaya Sakamoto made an appearance as Haruko Akagi. On the previous day, when there was one day left until the premiere, the manga’s author Takehiko Inoue posted an illustration of the character.
