Wash it All Away Anime revealed a new trailer on Friday, which features the ending theme song “Wakaba no Koro” by Natsumi Kiyoura. The anime premieres on January 5, 2026.
Studio Okuruto Noboru is animating the series with Kenta Onishi as director. Toko Machida is in charge of the series composition and the script, Azuma Tozawa is designing the characters, and Eri Chichibu is composing the music.
Yu. sings the opening theme song “Kirei,” and a trailer was previously released that contains the opening. The main voice cast consists of:
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Wakana Kinme
- Shuichiro Umeda as Kyusho Ishimochi
- Konomi Inagaki as Nairo Katakuchi
- Yoshino Aoyama as Kuriru Wakasagi
- Kento Shiraishi as Moruda Wakasagi
- Ami Koshimizu as Asami Yagara
- Wasabi Mizuta as Aji
The anime is based on a manga series by Mitsuru Hattori, which was serialized in Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine from July 2017 to June 2023.Square Enix is publishing the series in English and they describe it as follows:
For two years, Wakana Kinme has run a laundry service in the seaside resort town of Atami. Kinme Cleaning is a well-loved business, and Atami residents admire Wakana’s devotion to her trade. She builds a fulfilling life making friends with the locals and visiting hot springs. Although Wakana has no knowledge of her own past, her cleaning services safeguard memories imbued in customers’ precious items.
