Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant Gets TV Anime in 2025

Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant is officially getting a TV anime adaptation, with the release date set for 2025. The fantasy gourmet story has also revealed a teaser visual, which you can see below.

Yuki Kimikawa’s Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant began as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro. It got a print release in 2019 with art by Gao. It also received a received a manga adaptation by Tsumumi in 2020. Kaiten Books is publishing the manga in English, describing the story:

Dennis is one of the most popular members of the Silverwing Battalion, the world’s strongest party. So popular, in fact, that the party leader expels him from the group out of spite.

Stripped of his home, Dennis decides to start life anew following his true calling—as a chef! His life as an adventurer might be over, but his new life as a cook is just beginning. He teams up with Atelier, a young girl who has been similarly exiled from her home, and opens up a restaurant for adventurers.

He’s finally able to live out his dream, but he’ll need use of more than just his cooking skills to take care of his eclectic customers’ problems!

Yuki Kimikawa commented on the anime announcement: “Thanks to the readers, Gao-sensei for the book illustrations, Tsumumi-sensei for the manga, and all the editors and staff involved, we were able to achieve this anime adaptation.
