Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 TV has been announced at a special event in Japan. At the same event, a second season was announced for another undead adventurer anime.
A teaser visual was also revealed, with the words “I have returned once again.”
Studios Kai and HORNETS animated the first season of Skeleton Knight in Another World, which ran for 12 episodes from April 7 to June 23, 2022. It was directed by Katsumi Ono, with script by Takeshi Kikuchi, character designs by Toru Imanishi, and music by eba and Tsubasa Ito. The voice cast includes:
- Tomoaki Maeno as Arc
- Ai Fairouz as Arianne
- Nene Hieda as Ponta
- Miyu Tomita as Chiyome
- Takuya Eguchi as Danka
- Kohsuke Toriumi as Dillan
- Yuko Minaguchi as Glenys
- Rumi Okubo as Eevin
- Ryota Takeuchi as Goemon
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the original Japanese light novel by Ennki Hakari (story) and KeG (art) in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime. The story follows Arc, a player who gets transported into the body of his MMO game character. Now he is a Skeleton Knight, and he works as a mercenary to avoid being seen as a monster and taken out.
