It’s the eve of the new year, and we’ve completed our data collection for the most anticipated anime of Winter 2022. More than 16,000 voters chose their most anticipated anime for Winter 2022 from a selection of new works, sequels, and continuing series across multiple genres (all of which will premiere/pilot next season).
Before we proceed, it’s essential to understand that the rankings are based on data from the sample we chose. Additionally, we’d like to inform you that we’re considering the entertainment arc of Demon Slayer as a Winter 2022 title, but because its pilot episode already aired last season, it was excluded from this poll; however, it will be included in both the weekly and seasonal polls for this season.

While this is unsurprising, we would like to congratulate Attack on Titan on claiming the top spot. Likewise, we’d like to congratulate World’s End Harem on securing the second spot and becoming the season’s most anticipated non-sequel anime.
World’s End Harem was originally scheduled to air in Fall 2021, but was pushed back to Winter 2022 to allow for more thorough examination of the expressions. We’re looking forward to seeing it in its full glory, along with the many other new shows premiering this season.
