Kizuna no Allele, the upcoming anime featuring the VTuber Kizuna AI, has revealed a new key visual, its first-ever trailer, as well as information on the cast and staff for the anime. WIT Studio and Signal.MD are animating the series.
Kenichiro Komaya serves as the director, with Deko Akao doing the series composition. Shiori Asaka and Niina Morita serve as character designers while Shiori Asaka, Niina Morita, Mizuki Takahashi serve as chief animation directors.
The main cast announced includes:
- Ayumi Hinohara as Miracle
- Rina Kawaguchi as Quan
- Hikari Kodama as Chris
- Yuka Nukui Noelle
- Arisa Hanawa Riz
- Kizuna AI as herself

The new announcement for the Kizuna no Allele anime comes a day after a pre-recorded message from Kizuna Ai was uploaded in celebration of her 6th year anniversary. You can check out the video below:
The Kizuna no Allele anime was first announced in February this year following her live concert “Hello, World 2022”. Said concert was her final live show before going on an indefinite break from online activities.
Kizuna Ai is regarded as the one who pioneered the term ‘virtual YouTuber’ or ‘VTuber’. She started her online activities in December 2016. She has over 3 million subscribers on her main YouTube channel and over 1.5 million subscribers on her second channel “A.I.Games”, where she focuses on gaming-related content.
