World Trigger Anime Remake Arcs Revealed in Now-Removed Official Website Description

The official Toei Animation website description for the World Trigger anime notes that its REBOOT Project is a “completely new work,” remaking the series starting from the manga’s very first chapter. The arcs covered were listed as the Border Enlistment Arc, Large-Scale Invasion Arc, and the start of the B-Rank Wars Arc.

As a completely new anime adaptation project, the REBOOT Project will adapt the Border Enlistment Arc, Large-Scale Invasion Arc, and the start of the B-Rank Wars Arc, starting from the first chapter of the original manga.

The remake plan and arcs covered were temporarily listed in the Google search description of Toei Animation’s World Trigger landing page. They’ve since been removed. Just yesterday (December 3), World Trigger received a PV for its REBOOT Project, as well as a visual of Yuma in his Black Trigger form. You can check it out at the link above. Concrete information is expected at Jump Festa 2026 on December 20.

The World Trigger manga by Daisuke Ashihara is serialized in Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine. 29 volumes have been released to date. Toei Animation’s anime adaptation adapted the series across 99 episodes from 2014 to 2022. Given its promotion of this new World Trigger project and feature in its copyright notice, Toei Animation will likely also produce the World Trigger remake.
