Yorozuya and Shinsengumi Jackets Arrive in New Gintama x Bibisama Collaboration, Debuting at Anime Expo 2025

North American anime fashion label Bibisama has announced a new collaboration with the Gintama anime series, showing two exclusive bomber jackets inspired by the franchise’s two iconic groups: Yorozuya and the Shinsengumi.

The jackets will debut at Anime Expo 2025, which will be Founded in 2016, Bibisama is a North American fashion brand focused on anime-inspired streetwear. Known for its attention to detail and quality craftsmanship, the brand creates pieces that let fans wear their fandom with pride.held in Los Angeles from July 3-6, and they are also available for online pre-orders from today at bibisama.com.

Yorozuya Gin-chan (White Edition Bomber Jacket)

Crisp white, baby blue, and soft pink-to-white gradient bomber jackets perfectly captures the chaotic charm and free spirit of Gintoki’s ragtag team. The back is decorated with dynamic embroidery featuring characters illustrated in the whimsical Elizabeth-inspired art style, paying homage to one of Gintama’s most iconic figures. A standout detail on the sleeve features the beloved pet Sadaharu, captured in a fun and playful pose that adds character and charm to the design.

Shinsengumi (Black Edition Bomber Jacket)

Dark, sharp, and commanding — the black bomber jacket features detailed embroidery of the Shinsengumi squad casually going about their daily duties in their patrol car, portrayed in a playful and lighthearted style that captures the charm and humor of Gintama.

Both jackets are crafted with high-quality materials and limited in quantity, combining anime-themed visual elements with modern streetwear construction.

Founded in 2016, Bibisama is a North American fashion brand focused on anime-inspired streetwear. Meng Yang from Bibisama commented on the Gintama collaboration:

“This collaboration with Gintama means a lot to our brand and our community. We wanted to create something that feels both premium and personal for fans who grew up loving the series.”

Hideaki Sorachi wrote and illustrated the original Gintama manga, which first ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from 2003 to 2018, and then in their Jump Giga until February 2019. Its anime adaptation was animated by Sunrise until Season 4, which is when Bandai Namco Pictures took over. The anime has a total of 367 episodes, as well as numerous OVAs, movies, games, novels and specials. The latest installment was the Gintama: The Very Final movie, which premiered in 2021.

TV TOKYO recently announced the world premiere of its upcoming GINTAMA spin-off anime, GINTAMA – Mr. Ginpachi’s Zany Class, which will also take place during Anime Expo 2025 in Los Angeles.
